1. What the Interface is
The Interface is a non-custodial front-end that lets you interact with publicly deployed smart contracts on a permissionless blockchain. Through it, you may lock $ASSET tokens into a staking contract in anticipation of the network's transition from Proof of Authority (PoA) to Proof of Stake (PoS), and (subject to the contract's rules) later withdraw your principal and any rewards distributed by those contracts.
We do not take custody of your tokens at any point. Tokens you stake remain locked in the smart contract; we cannot move, freeze, or recover them. We also do not provide investment, tax, or legal advice. Nothing on the Interface is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any crypto-asset.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. You must not access or use the Interface if doing so is unlawful in your jurisdiction, if you are a resident of, or located in, a comprehensive sanctions jurisdiction (including, without limitation, the Crimea region of Ukraine, the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria), or if you are listed on any applicable sanctions list. You are responsible for determining whether your use of the Interface is permitted in your location, and for complying with any local registration, licensing, tax, and reporting requirements.
3. Risk disclosure (read this carefully)
Crypto-assets are highly volatile. The value of $ASSET and any rewards may fluctuate significantly and can fall to zero. You may lose some or all of the value of the assets you stake. Past performance, including any displayed APY or projected pool share, is not a reliable indicator of future results. APY and reward figures are estimates only; actual rewards depend on on-chain conditions and may be substantially lower than estimates, or zero.
The Interface depends on third-party smart contracts that may contain bugs, be exploited, or behave in ways that cause loss of funds even where they perform as written. Network outages, validator failures, oracle issues, and changes to underlying protocols may impair your ability to stake, unstake, or withdraw. Early unstaking is subject to a penalty that decays over time per the contract's on-chain parameters; depending on when you exit, a portion of your stake may be permanently forfeited to remaining stakers.
You are solely responsible for safeguarding the private keys and recovery phrases of any wallet you connect. We cannot recover lost keys or reverse transactions.
4. EU users — MiCA disclosures
Where the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/1114, “MiCA”) applies to your access of the Interface, the following additional notices apply:
The Interface is a software front-end only and does not, in itself, provide crypto-asset services within the meaning of Article 3(1)(16) MiCA. We do not provide custody and administration of crypto-assets on behalf of clients, do not operate a trading platform, do not execute, place, or receive and transmit client orders, do not provide portfolio management or advisory services, and do not arrange the exchange of crypto-assets against funds or other crypto-assets. Staking through the Interface occurs directly between you and a smart contract; we are not a counterparty to your transactions.
Any information shown about $ASSET (including market price, trading venues, and reward streams) is marketing communication and is clearly identifiable as such. It is not an offer to the public or admission to trading within the meaning of MiCA Title II. Where a crypto-asset white paper is required, we will publish a link to it on the Interface; absence of a link means we do not consider one applicable to material currently shown.
Risk warning, as required under the ESMA guidelines on marketing communications: crypto-assets are not regulated investments in most EU Member States, are subject to high volatility, and you may lose the entire amount you commit. You should only interact with the Interface if you understand the features and risks of the underlying crypto-assets and smart contracts.
5. Fees, taxes, and rewards
We do not currently charge a service fee for use of the Interface. You are responsible for all network (gas) fees required to execute transactions, and for any taxes (including income, capital gains, and withholding taxes) that apply to staking, rewards, or token movements in your jurisdiction. Reward distributions and APY estimates may change or be discontinued at any time in line with the underlying smart-contract rules and protocol governance.
6. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- use the Interface to launder funds, finance terrorism, evade sanctions, or commit any other unlawful act;
- interfere with, probe, scrape, or attempt to compromise the Interface, the underlying smart contracts, or the infrastructure on which they run;
- misrepresent your identity, residence, or wallet ownership; or
- access the Interface through automated means in a way that places an unreasonable load on its infrastructure.
7. No warranty
The Interface is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Interface will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information shown is accurate, complete, or current.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Interface, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you have paid to us in connection with the Interface in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence where applicable).
9. Changes
We may change these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where the change is material, take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention through the Interface. Continued use after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Interface is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your habitual residence in the EU.
11. Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact the operator at the address listed on the Interface. For data-protection enquiries, see the Privacy Policy.
The legal entity operating the Interface, its registered office and any registration or licence number are listed on the Interface and, where applicable, in the relevant register of crypto-asset service providers maintained under MiCA.
